All Souls

Horsechestnuts are traditionally regarded as a symbol of energy and re-birth in the Czech Republic. The family ('rodina') plays an important part in Czech life, and at no time more so than the feast of All Souls. Many take the opportunity to visit cemeteries, and pay their respects.
